Click start then search, include hidden and system files, look for prefetch, you get one folder, open the folder, click edit then select all, right click any of the files then click delete, confirm the delete

Click start, all programmes, accessories, system tools to run disc clean up then disc defragmenter

You can use the trial of Tune Up 2004 to run disc clean up, registry clean up then click optimize to run reg defrag

Welcome to Geekstogo. You can also download and run CleanUp!. It deletes all your temporary "junk" files and folders and creates alot of free space. It freed up 1.2GB on my PC.
