Restore\Temp folder:

When running scans to eliminate malware I found:

1.) this folder is enormous
and
2.) it contained a ton of infected files.

So, what is it?

Ok - I think I see what it does. Provides resote points. Any tips for managing this beast of a folder though? Can I safely adjust the disk space it uses?

Howdy:

To clean it out, simply disable System Restore.. Reboot and re-enable System Restore..

As for the size, it defaults to 12% of the hdd.. I set mine at about 5%..
