New to MMO's, need reccommendations

I've never really played or gotten into MMO's, but I'm bored and need to kill some time... and there aren't too many good RPG's out for PC that I haven't already played. I can only afford one game at the moment, I've narrowed it down to:

WoW
Guild Wars
City of Heroes

I'm leaning towards GW right now simply becuase it doesn't have a fee. But WoW does have a huge amount of positive hype and word of mouth, so I'm really on the fence. I guess I just don't want to pay 15$ a month...


Can you guys post some pros and cons, or opinions to help me decide?

City of heroes will help you kill time and i think i saw somewhere that there is a 14day free trial sorry cant help you with the site that is hosting it try plaync.com they might have more info on it.Fun game to just kill some time :tazz:

Read a review on guild wars a little while ago and it looked ok not my cup of tea but looked as good as any of those mmos around.
