I looked and searched, but didn't find the answer to my problem. Maybe I didn't look hard enough, or use the right keywords. In anycase, I have a problem with one of my ZIP disks.

Somehow it's locked, i mean locked and frozen ready for the grave. I dunno how it happened. The other disks work fine, but this one I can't do anything with at all. The drive won't read it, won't even recognize that it is in the slot so I can look at the properties. Is there anyway I can open this disk, or save what files are in there?

Please help. I'm computer inclined, but not a whole lot and I am completely lost.

you can try reading it in another zip drive if your lucky enough to know someone who has one. Chances are that the zip disk has gone bad and not much you can do about it.

**sighs** I was afraid of that. Okay. I'll try another zip drive. And if it doesn't work, I'll cry.
