i tried ad-aware , spybot S&D and an online manual removal which includes ewido in it. Unfortunately it keeps on respawning...i have spent 48 hrs trying to remove this pest. Do help me plz

Click here to download Nailfix. Extract it from the zip file to your desktop but do NOT run it yet.

Click here to download Process Explorer.

Run Process Explorer and find pvdmlh.exe in the list of Processes. Select the process and click Process > Suspend.

Then open HijackThis, click Config > Misc Tools > Delete a file on reboot... In the explorer Window select G:\WINDOWS\system32\pvdmlh.exe When prompted if you want to reboot click YES

Important - leave Process Explorer running with the process suspended through the reboot.

Have it reboot into Safe Mode by tapping F8 after the BIOS has loaded. Once in Safe Mode, please double-click on nailfix.exe. Click "Next" in the setup, then make sure "Run Nailfix" is checked and click "Finish". Your desktop and icons will disappear and reappear, and a window should open and close very quickly --- this is normal.

Reboot into Normal Mode when done, rescan with HJT and post a new log here.

i followed ur instructions dling the 2 programs. I ran Process Explorer , suspended the file , ran hijack this selected the file to delete and rebooted. However i screwed up the next part that is when selecting which user to reboot to safe , i chose admin instead of my normal user. I remembered putting my nailfix in desktop but there isn't any . So i restarted again this time in normal and do the nailfix thing and restarted again. So here is my HJ this log. Sorry if i messed up

NOt sure if this helps but when i did some exploring in windows directory there is no nail.exe but i found a weird name file jjpuozbnvds.exe


this file has the aurora logo.

deleted . system is ok but i think i need to KIV it for few hrs.

i went thru windows dir another time after deleting that file name which starts with q... then i emptied recycle bin and found another strange file.

i did that online scan too here is the result
