Alright, so randomly (or it seems like it), a very vulgar site pops up and a file tries to download called gdnUS2178.exe. The IP it downloads from is 69.50.173.166.

I've tried GIANT AntiSpyware, AdAware, Spybot, CWShredder, Ewido Security Suite, and nothing works. CWShredder almost worked and nothing happened for a day but it came right back the next day.

I apoligize if this topic coincides with this post, but it seems to differ a little.

Hi Conner and Welcome to GeekstoGo!

Would you please upload 2 files for me to look at!

C:\WINDOWS\System32\explorer6s4.exe

C:\WINDOWS\System\svchost.exe<- In the System folder,Not the System32 folder!

Upload them here please
http://www.thespykiller.co.uk/forum/

Leave a link to this post and put "For Crete" in the message box!

Once those are uploaded,Download WinPFind:
http://www.bleepingc...es/winpfind.php

Right Click the Zip Folder and Select "Extract All"

Don't use it yet!

Right-Click Here and Click "Save As" to download DelDomains.inf to your desktop.

Right Click DelDomains.inf on your desktop and select "Install"

It will perform a silent process>Give it a minute to run!

Download Pocket KillBox from here:
http://www.atribune....llBox_beta_.exe

Highlight the list below and press Ctrl+C to Copy!

C:\WINDOWS\System\svchost.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\explorer6s4.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\symcsvc.exe

Open Pocket Killbox-> Click File-> Click Paste from Clipboard!

Place a tick by Delete on Reboot-> Click the Red Circle to Delete!

Click Yes to the Prompts that follow and let Killbox Reboot the PC!

Reboot into SAFE MODE(Tap F8 when restarting)
Here is a link on how to boot into Safe Mode:
http://service1.syma...src=sec_doc_nam

Open HijackThis and put a check by these but DO NOT hit the Fix Checked button yet!

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [WindowsUpdate] C:\WINDOWS\System\svchost.exe /s

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Explorer32] C:\WINDOWS\System32\explorer6s4.exe

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [aupd] C:\WINDOWS\System32\symcsvc.exe

Now Make sure ALL WINDOWS and BROWSERS are CLOSED and hit the Fix Checked Button!

From the WinPFind folder-> Doubleclick WinPFind.exe and Click "Start Scan"

It will scan the entire System, so please be patient!

One you see "Scan Complete"-> a log (WinPFind.txt) will be automatically generated in the WinPFind folder!

Run MSCONFIG and enable everything in the startup area. To get to MSCONFIG, click on Start -> Run -> type in MSCONFIG -> click OK!

Under the "General" Tab
Make Sure Normal Startup is Checked!!

Click Apply>>Close>>Follow the Prompts to Restart!!

Restart Normal and have the PC Scanned here:
F-Secure

You will need to be using Internet Explorer for the Scan to work!

Save the Report it generates

Post back with a fresh HijackThis log and the reports from WinPFind and F-Secure!
