When I log off and back on to another user my modem will not work. It works fine if I restart when changing users, but not when I just log off and on. I am running Windows XP Media Edition. What can I do to fix this problem? :tazz:

Welcome. It could be that the connection is only set up on one user account or that the account you are trying to connect to is a limited account. Limited accounts only have access to certain computer features.

Yes One account is a limited account. Is there a way to add adman priv. to certain programs so they work properly? Is it a big hassle to do? I will try changing user account info.

Thanks

is it neccessary for the other user to be limited? try setting them as a power user....it won't give them admin rights but they will be elevated enough to do most things on the system
