Hi!!
I write from Italy and it's a few days that I try to get out from a messy situation with my computer. It all starded when I noticed a considerable reduction on the connection speed (I have a "Fastweb" connection, with fiber-optic calbes, usually allowing downloads at 800-900 kb/s...). I downloaded some symantec tool and find out I had Sober on my system. Then I found out some of your useful posts and setted Ad-aware to run properly: it found out plenty of bad files/keys on my computer.
I've installed Spybot, Spywareblaster, Hijack This and mixed their use with several norton antivirus/ house call scan.
Still I encounter several connection speed problems along with the presence of strange processes and files on my pc.
It could be a tech problem with the Internet provider, but before calling them for help and assistance I'd like to be sure it's not me...besides the will to have a CLEAN computer...
So...would someone give me assistance?
Here's my Hijackthis log:

Thank you, Metallica...I've done everything like you said...Do you think that those files could slow down my connection?
It seems like it's all fine now...
Thanks again!
I post the new Hijackthis log, just in case...

Hi kalder,

Well done. <_<

Search Relevancy is spyware so it would certainly use your connection.
I have no first-hand experience with it, so I have no idea whether it slows you down.
I'll take your word for it. :D

Take care and safe surfing,

Pieter

Hi,
I too live in Italy and am using FASTWEB. The reason I got to this forum was because of looking up problems+fastweb on google.
My connection speed has slowed to 28.8kbs which is stupidly slow. My PC seems faster than my Mac and it certainly is not a virus or spyware. It is the stupid fastweb guys. I will be contacting them by phone as they do not answer their e-mails and I suggest you do the same
