I am trying to upgrade my windows ME computer to Windows XP but when the computer restarts to do part of the installation it says it can't load the keyboard layout file KBDUS.DLL. What do i do??

Is there anything special about your keyboard? Did it come with special software? Since you're upgrading from a factory installed system you may need special drivers for it and may be able to get them from the keyboard or computer makers site.

Something you might do is substitute a standard keyboard during the upgrade and get the drivers for the other later after you've installed.
