How can I delete the items I have previously searched for that are the "search" drop down window? They do not go away with Disk Clean Up or using "CleanUp".Thanks

What "search" bar are you talking about. Is it the search bar in Internet Explorer?

Highlight them and press delete on your keyboard. Also, Tools>Internet Options>Content turn off or clear auto complete.
