Hello, I received an email notification from you with a link to another users similar problem. My problem is alittle different because even in safemode I have no icons. I tried to start computer in all different modes, but same results with all. If you can refer to my last post, I think I made matters alot worse by merging that smitfraud.reg with my registry. Anyway, now thru the task managar, I have been trying to run some of the fix programs that I have previously downloaded from your site. Out of desperation, I just tried those programs that come with that smitrem program (task kill/ replace/ del files/ LTD fix, etc)- and again I think I made matters worse. Now, I just have a blue plain background. Before running this, I did have my wallpaper. Anyway, if you can direct me on what I can do to straighten this out, I would be so grateful! My last post has my recent hijackthis log. I tried to run it thru task mangaer, but getting that same error that I now get when I reboot the computer (explorer.exe missing component- wininet.dll missing error, etc)... Help...Please! Thank you.
