installing an external floppy

I am trying to install an external floppy on an IBM Thinkpad 760E using the printer port.

Even though I can access the bios, I cannot find a way to setup the new Floppy drive.

It presently has a hard drive, CD drive, an internal FDD that you exchange with the CD drive. The internal drive does not work and I am trying to setup the external.

Any help would be appreciated ... so my daughter can use her computer and not mine!
