Better get Port Explorer from the second site.

We do not want to add to the burden by installing another download manager.

Thanks!!
I installed Zone Alarm and watched the promo video. I had a little problems logging on Juno, today; but, can't figgure if it was caused by Zone Alarm, yet.... I'll keep you posted.

Things are running smoothly, now; although, I'm still getting a whole poo-pot worth of stuff downloading when I log on to my ISP. Zone Lab doesn't indicate that anythings talking; but everytime I log off and use Cleanup, I flush 6 - 8 mb's of junk. I've not loaded Port Explorer, yet mainly because I'm not sure what I'm looking for. Any suggestions???
The puter is running slow; but, I figured that it's the junk slowing it down.
Thanks uh million....

Can you tell me where most of the junk is coming from?

I wouldn't worry too much if it it's the Temp Internet Files.

I have no earthly idea where it's coming from. Normally if I downloaded a large file (5 mb +), it takes at least 5-10 minits for it to come in on this dialup. But I don't detect any visable activity that would indicate that many files are being downloaded...
Yes they are in the Temp Internet file.

Well if your Temp Internet files are empty, everything and I mean everything you see on the first site you open will get downloaded in there.
So will everything on the second except for what you already downloaded on the first etc. etc.

Get my drift?

IE stores everything just in case you will need it again later. This allows it to show sites faster then you would be able to download them,.
