I have a problem connecting a win 2k box to a win 98 box. What I have is a mixture of w2k & 98 machines using static ips and a host file to connect to a unix box. The problem is I can not ping 2 of the 98 machines but I can go to My Network Places and see them and connect to them except for 1 w2k machine. If I try and connect to them I get path is not accesable. The pinging doesn't mater to me but I need this w2k machine to see these 98 machines.

Any help would be appeciated.

Dissregard this post, come to find out the operator had installed Norton Internet Security and was blocking all his ports.
