overclocking amd xp 2000+

is this good for over clocking im puting 1gb of ram in it too pc2700 ddr
also how would i go about overclockin it threw the bios

You probably won't get much overclock with that RAM, i would get PC3200 minimum.

How much are you willing to spend on RAM?

I would highly reccomend the GeIL 1GB (2x512MB) PC4400 Ultra Platinum CAS3 Dual Channel Kit from Overclockers.co.uk for £125 (http://www.overclock...annel_Kits.html).

That RAM is capable of huge FSB overclocks and allows you to keep a decent multiplier when overclocking.
