The game plays fine, albeit better at a lower resolution. I currently am running the game on an 800x600, but i've also run it at the lowest setting, and still the movies will not play. they "flicker." every few seconds, i get a flick of an image - like a single frame from film. the sound is great, but the video is screwed up.

I'm running on a sony vaio laptop model PCG-7A2L. It runs off an intel centrino 1.73 ghz, 1.00 gb RAM. windows xp, service pack 2.

it also has an nvidia geforce go 6200 graphics card. this is the problem, i guess.

i installed medal of honor pacific assault. the game plays fine, even though it complains that my system is not robust enough. I figure probably because the game requires a pentium 4, and all i have is a centrino. in any case, the movies in the game don't work. it is a bit central to the story, and i'm a bit of a history buff, so the movies are somewhat important to me.

anybody have any ideas?

i would try going directly to ea games and downloading the patch for stutter and lag. it won't hurt and it might fix your problem!

Could be your codecs... I have seen certain cutscenes not work due to codecs. Do you use divx xvid or any other codec?

If so, try updating them
