Dear Sir,

I had originally windows 98 opeasrting system installed on my C drive.Later on i have installed windows xp sp2 in D drive.

Some times when i log in to windows xp,the following problems are encountered.

1) Windows xp shut down initiated by windows nt authority.
The error occured due to ilass.exe

2) Some times at the starting only the following is observed>

Windows recovered from serious error and sending error report to microsoft.

3) Internet explorer malfunctioning

Some times if after starting IE after typing the web address ,it indiactes syntax error and the address is changing it self. All the while my computer is connected
to Internet service provider.

4) Some times registry errors are also reported.

THere are no problems with windows 98 system.(The problems were over come by following Geeks to go advice forum)

Regards
