I keep getting a message that I have a week before my 2005 Norton AV runs out.
Should I renew it over the Internet or buy a new disk?

Also, I am wondering if running Ad-Aware SE every few days is enough to get rid of
the 'critters' that slip through Norton or should I also download another similar one?

Thanks, Janie :tazz:

Ad-Aware SE Is a good Programme To Use and i prefer Panda Titanium Antivirus 2005 than Norton but the Professional version of adware only includes one more thing and thats AD-WATCH

The main anti spyware programmes are here

install 1,2,4,5, and 6 if you like the look of them

If there is an option to pay extra to get the download and a disc, go for that.

Have a look at the upgrade options as well

You can get a third party firewall here

http://www.filehippo...ware/firewalls/

If you use the XP Firewall you will need to turn it off after installing one of these.

The XP Firewall only blocks incoming data

Hi Keith.
Are you saying we need to have 5 or 6 spyware downloads?

Hmmm, why can't just one take care of the 'critters'?

Thanks, Janie :tazz:

I probably don't have very much 'spyware' as I don't browse the
adult web sites. :)

I guess I think they cause problems with 'critters'. :tazz:

And Nivdiea, thanks for your reply about ad-aware; I missed it earlier.
I have never heard of that AV downloud...Is it free? (I WISH)

Thanks, Janie :)
