Outlook was working fine last Friday... then Monday it stopped working! Won't complete the 'check for new mail' sequence and won't send mail. However the only error message received is: Windows Messaging Subsystem Spooler has encountered a problem and needs to close.

Here's the most recent Hi-Jack log:

Update to my problem...

I've determined what's causing the problem is that my  co-worker tried to send an email to an invalid address. The email contains enough attachments to choke any PC and that's what's stuck in the spooler.

Any suggestions on HOW TO DELETE THIS ITEM FROM THE OUTBOX??

When I try to delete it, I get a message that says it can't be deleted because it's in the process of being sent.

HELP!!!

Thanks for the link! I did finally get the message deleted by removing Outlook from the start menu (which did the same thing the link suggested... taking it offline).

Appreciate the response!
