PSGuard, slow startup, black wallpaper

Hi. I picked up a a bad bug. Explorer defaulted to a site that wanted me to buy spy sheriff or something. Desktop background went to black. Yoiks! So, after a couple of deep breaths, I searched out the spy sheriff and found geekstogo. I have run all of the software on the malware page and have finally eliminated the PSGuard thing. My background is still black. And startup is very slow. I have kept a running log of hijackthis and can see that some of the lines that used to have ShudderLTD\PSGuard have changed. I haven't deleted anything on my own, because I don't really know what I'm looking at, but it does look interesting. I could really use some help. I look forward to hearing from you.
