Just lately I have begun to experience when I click on a program, any program, the little busy hour glass that lets you know the program has been accessed take quite a few seconds to appear. Because it is not instantaneous, I think I need to left click the mouse again and then multiple windows open up of the program.

I have to back out of all of them to get to just one window. Thus when I left click the mouse on a program I never know if it is going to open up or whether I did not click correctly and need to again.

Anyone know what tweak I might do to remedy this? :tazz:

Click start then run, type sfc /scannow then press enter to replace the system files, you need the XP CD and get a blue bar, when the bar goes, reboot
