Ok, I had Windows XP SP2 issue, so i downgraded. It won't let me upgrade now, but thats besides the point.

I know it is not a memory issue, because I have enough.

Every time I go on Firefox, when I scroll down, a line moves down the screen, as if it was refreshing itself. This also happens when I move a window. Whenever I move a window, I get a screen stutter.

This may be a monitor problem, but I have a plug and play monitor. And now it say 'Default Monitor' under Settings. It has always said 'Plug and Play Monitor' I have a ViewSonic Graphic Series, G90F.

Also, this may be a graphics card problem. I try reinstalling my drivers to no avail of a solution. I have a NVIDIA GeForce FX 5700 LE.

As another reminder, this is all after I downgraded.

Click start then run, type sfc /scannow then press enter, you need the XP CD and get a blue bar, when the bar goes, reboot

Got to viewsonic site to look for monitor drivers

Try for SP2 after running sfc /scannow

It is a file which is removed to comply with the EU Decision on Media Player

Try re-installing it from here

Ever since downgrading, WMP 10 works fine. But, the main reason I want to re-upgrade is because, every time i restart my computer, I have to reinstall my monitor and video card drivers. And to finish the video card driver install, you have to restart.
