Alright so I have a VGA out adaptor for my laptop and the proper cable leading to the VGA Input on my Television. Everything works correctly, but not quite how I want it to. Rather than turning the TV into my monitor, which I want, it uses the TV as a second desktop, so i can scroll my mouse from the laptop's monitor off the edge and it appears on the TV. Also, the TV is at a resolution lower than 600x800! I can change the resolution of the desktop on the TV and scroll around, but the TV is always at the same resolution, any ideas.
