I intalled SP2 and all the other updates.
Computor boots up but takes a full min or more, once the icons are sitting on the screen, until it's responsive. there seem to be more than the usual procceses running but I can't figure out why.
For some reason I have 6 copies of svchost running rather that what I would assume to be normal at 2 or 3. Process Explorer tells me they are all in the right directory. I updated AVG and scanned - no viruses. I ran spybot - clean. I'm out of ideas. right now I'm running a malware scan called a^2, we'll see. Wait, that's clean too.
Any thoughts?
