My moms comp keeps shutting down and restarting whenever she clicks on a program or try to log into something. We ran a virus scan and it showed 7 adware and one infected file. This WinFix2005 thing keeps popping up and wont go away. Her computer now wont stay on long enough to try any of the fix it solutions. We tried a system restore and a recovery but it keeps cutting off. Is this an issue where we just need to throw away a 6 month old computer? After the scan, we deleted the files that were infected and tried to restart and run another scan but like I said, the comp wont even stay on. Help!!!! :) :) :)  What do we do? :tazz:

Please Click here!, and follow the recommendations in the guide.

If you're still having trouble, We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool, Hijack This. Follow the instructions in step five of this guide, and reply here with your log.

Most of what Hijack This lists lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.
