Thank you for your efforts.

I completed all instructions in the "click here" section. Several instances of virus/trojans were identified and removed using the tools. I had to reboot the computer several times. Unfortunately since I completed the reboot after running AVG virus scanner I am no longer able to access the internet from that computer; that's a secondary problem and I'd just like to get rid of PS Spyguard first.
I'm sending you this log because the PS Spyguard application still comes up each time I start up.

Besides the log file in this posting the following also is also provided. One of the virus scanning tools identified the following file as being infected with a trojan but it displayed text that it was not able to immunize/fix it:
"C:\\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\intell32.exe"

The HiJackThis logfile follows:

Hi and welcome to GeeksToGo! My name is Sam and I will be helping you. :tazz:

I see you are running Hijackthis from your desktop. Please create a directory on your c: drive called c:\hijackthis and move hijackthis into that directory. Run the program from that directory from now on. It is essential that you follow these steps or certain important features of the program will not function correctly.

Once you have Hijackthis running from a within a folder please reboot and post a new hijackthis log.
