Hi,

I have the same problems rstr44 had posted on Jun 25. the ecommendation to do manual download worked for me -- thanks!

This is the first time it has happened to me in 2+ years of using Ad-Aware. I am running Windows XP. Any ideas why it happened? I did delete files from my C:\Documents and Settings\swoo\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5 directory. Could this be the reason?

Welcome to GTG.

Sometimes automatic updates don't work so well. See if it his is a recurring problem. You should have problems updating. Is this the newest Ad-aware version?

No, clearing the temp folders shouldn't cause problems like this.
