my screen concaves on the sides!

Hi, I am new to this, and hope someone can help me. My window screen seems to concave on the sides all by itself, distorting my window screen! I have ran ad-aware, norton, and dont seem to have any viruses, but something is definitely wrong here!
The screen goes back to normal when I reboot, but now a couple times a day, after it has been idle, the screen changes. any suggestions? thank you. I have windows xp.

I'm new too but your problem may not be your computer. It may be the monitor. Check your monitor settings.
