I have noticed a virus alert coming from norton antivirus
it says
C:\windows\system32\wininet.dll is infected with a virus named bloodhound.w32.ep
and i cant delete it nor would norton quaratine it or fix it , and this virus seems to always infect my computer ... even after i format ,and wait a couple of weeks and its there again.

We can definitely help you, but first you need to help us. The first step in this process is to apply Service Pack 1a for Windows XP. Without this update, you're wide open to re-infection, and we're both just wasting our time.

well i downloaded the file and started the setup , and after a couple of minutes , an error message came up , it said

SETUP ERROR
wininet.dll is open or in use by another application , close all other apps and retry , i closed most apps and still it didint work. :S

I forgot to mention that norton alerts me everytime i execute an .exe file ,
i tried clicking on other files like text or bitmaps but norton didint alert me.
