Whenever I attach a photograph file to an Outlook Express message, the picture also appears on the text message. How can I disable this feature.

Thanks, but I have already tried this procedure to no avail. After your suggestion I rechecked the settings, including a second identity.

Any more suggestions?

Howdy:

Try sending the email in "Plain Text" format rather than "Rich Text" or "HTML" !!

Keith,

I insert the file, then browse to the image - a procedure that I believe would be necessary for attaching more than one file.

Murray,

I have tried this - again! Same results.

Thanks to you both, any other suggestions?
