You can run check disk by going to run and typing chkdsk /f , but considering you ran seatools and it told you that there were errors then the next step is to try another drive in the computer.

I have the same problem..although not with all games (that im aware of)

My problem is with CS:source....and i had the SAME exact instruction errors you had...

then i read that it was a problem my geforce had with the via chipset...so i picked up the newest nvidia drivers...and it did solve my instruction errors..but now..when i get 10 minutes (or less sometimes) into the game it freezes....then is fine...then freezes...fine..freeze and crashs...causes my system to reboot...the error always comes up as an nvidia error

i have tried the card in other machines, with no problems

i have installed my older drivers...still the same thing....

updated my 4 in 1 via drivers....same thing

tried numerous settings for just about everything in my system to no avail...

personally this is the first nvidia card i have purchased since a geforce 2 ultra...and i have NEVER had this many issues....its kind of discouraging when you spend 500 dollars on something that just causes headaches......

from here on (unless this gets fixed) its back to ATI for me
