This sounds like a strage problem. When are trying to start programs, how are you doing this? Double-clicking shortcuts, clicking icon on start menu, double-clicking exe files in explorer? Try running a basic program like Notepad or Paint from the start menu and see if you get a similar problem and let us know the results.
Cheers,
Tom
I am having a problem opening software programs on my computer. Evry time I try to open any progream, I get the following message: "mmjb.exe- Application Error The application failed to initalize properly (0xc000012d). Click on OK to termiate the application." Someone told me the error was related to Musicmatch Jukebox, so I removed that from the computer, but it did not help at all. Please let me know if you can help, thank you!

Thank you for the advice, but it happens when I open programs from the start menu, icons on the desktop, any way you can open a program. Let me know if you have any more thoughts. Thanks! - Karin
P.S.- It may help anyone to know that this is a somewhat intermittent problem, I can restart my computer and get it to work fine for the first hour or so after restart.

You must have an entry in your registry that tries to open that file, and since it isn't in your machine you get the error. You might want to use the regsearch function to find the entry and remove it.
