Hi

I have recently inherited a computer which you GTG have helped me clean and all is running well.

The person I got the computer from was a farmer and as such there is evidence of this.

Every time I open Outlook Express, there is an extra pane with Farming Online logo.

Also, when I open Google, right at the top of the page in the blue bar it says "Google - Farming Online".

Could you tell me how to remove this from the computer as I stopped wanting to be farmer when I was about six!

Thanks

You might try right clicking on the desktop and choosing "properties" then "themes". You may be able to remove all the "farmeronline" stuff by toggling XP's default themes and a reboot. Post back if you have questions.

Hi there Johanna

You've lost me I'm afraid!

How do I toggle XP's default themes?

Thanks

I suspect the previous owner installed a "theme" to change the appearance of XP to add the "farming online" banners. Go into the theme dialog box and click on the drop down arrow for the choices. "Toggle" means to go back and forth. Select one of the default themes, click apply, and reboot.
