I have a LAN set up.
I see both systems in my Network Places.
I can SSH into the linux box
I can SFTP into the linux box
I can access other windows systems via my XP Pro Network Places window.

Yet can not open the linux system from the Network Places window on my XP Pro system.

Given I can SSH and SFTP in, it would appear that I have users setup.
I believe I have the directory I want to work with set up to be shared.

What do I need to look for on the linux box? Something must be turned off or set up to block such access?

Apparently this is a common problem with the configuration of Samba

While I have made little progress in solving it yet I found the following that looks like it will help.
