everytime i play a cd in my cd-rom the songs of the tracks speedup... i think my problem is that the speed that it reads the disk is too fast... how do i slow that down but dont lose my proformance on my other games disk and all

CD-ROM's read the disk many times faster than needed for playback. It must be a software problem. Have you tried using another program to play CD's?

yea i use the windows media player, it brings it up as a default
