Virus changing my file extensions [CLOSED]

This is my second day with this problem. Basically, whenever I tried to start my PC, my ad-watch's log will be COMPLETELY flooded with warnings of something trying to change my registry values. I've went through the complete malware FAQ, restarted and things are still the same. The only way I'm able to access firefox is by using some registry fixes found on the net so that I can open .exe files.
