I reformatted and reinstalled Windows XP pro after some viruses took over. Since then, the ol' Plexwriter won't work. I discovered it when I put in a blank cd to burn. The drive was spinning and lighting up but the software kept saying insert blank cd. Then, I tried a music cd, but it didn't play. My device manager has no alerts or problems. :tazz:

It's just Windows Media 10. The original installation cd for the Plexwriter is no longer compatible with my operating system since I've upgraded to XP Pro, but it was working with XP before the reformat. The website says there is no need for any new software because XP will just find the hardware and get the drivers it needs. I may just buy a new cd-r drive since they are reasonable rightnow.
