XP wont load

I got my computer fixed and now four months later it has another problem. when you turn it on, after the logo screen, it has themode selection screen

Safe mode
Safe mode with networking
Safe mode with command prompt

Last known Configuration
Start Windows Normally

..............


I chose normal as that was the last known working setup.
it goes to the same screen. anyone

use your cd to load the recovery console, then run chkdsk /r

No.. But, this will only work with a legitimate XP install..
