When I run spybot right now it finds maybe 2 or 3 objects. When I run adaware it finds over 200 objects.. many critical but it can't delete them. It tries or at least it appears to be trying (the box showing the progress of the deletion.. don't know what this is called.. fills up)... but then nothing happens. It freezes. I uninstalled adaware tonight and reinstalled it and it is still doing the same thing. I just ran it and it found 223 objects.. I clicked on each object to delete... the bar showed that it was attempting to delete them but then 30 minutes later the screen was still the same, objects not deleted.
What else can I do? I've got pop ups like crazy despite my pop up blocker and my computer is running slow and kicking me off the internet about every 10 or 15 minutes. I'm also getting a ton of illegal operation messages which shuts down my computer but I don't know if this is related.
