Hello, I am having problems with windows such as IE and help and support, opening multiple times by themselves. Also in programs the help windows are opening automatically and staying open. In dialog boxes the letter "i" is being typed continuously. This problem is sporadic and currently is dormant. I've done a complete system restore and wiped my hard drive clean, I also have Norton internet security and have all updates and system scanned, but it says my system is clean, however, the problem still occured after all this. I have a hp laptop. I appreciate any advice, thanks.

It may be a keyboard problem. If you have/can borrow another keyboard I would say try it.

OK, thanks guys. So is it possible to use an alternate keyboard on my laptop? (my keyboard is set into the hp laptop, not like a regular desktop where the keyboard is a separate unit from the tower). Also if it is a keyboard problem would I be able to replace the keyboard myself? Thanks.
