I am currently running Windows 2000 Pro and want to wipe it off my hard drive and start over new with XP Pro.
How do I do wipe a hard drive clean SAFLEY? I would rather NOT install XP over 2000. or can I do it without fear?
Thank you.

When you boot your computer from the XP cd, you are able to delete the current partition, then create a new one and then format the hard drive.
