uhh,stripes of some kind?

when i installed Win XP and i changed from 800x600 to 1024x728 there was some kind of stripes that was like,brighter than the background and the screen shaked a little bit,i installed directX 9c so whats the problem?

1.can't,it's not stripes that can be printscreened..its more like..i tested and it didnt work
2. i dunno what my graphic card-model is..
Edit on nr2: Nvm, i found out that it was SiS

Run it then click + next to computer then summary, look on right for display / video adapter, post the make and model or look at the manufacturers site

The monitor may show out of range when this happens

Check that the monitor cable is not bent and that it is plugged in properly.
Also get the newest graphics adapter.. I have SiS too :tazz:
