My laptop was infested with malware, and after successfully removing all the junk (with the help of therock :tazz: ) it's working like a dream.

Only one tiny problem, I rarely 'switch off' my laptop, but rather put it in 'hibernate' mode (clicking the power button once). Ever since my malware removal, when I hibernate the laptop the screen freezes in the blue screen with "hiberanting..." and remains on till my battery dies and it powers out.

Is this normal?

Help!

- Pro hibernator.

Check Microsoft Update

Click start then run, type sfc /scannow then press enter to replace the system files, you need the XP CD and get a blue bar, reboot when the bar goes
