Hmmmm for some reoson there are two of these files in your log this time. Lets try this and if its successful we can go after the other one . If not we have alternate methods

Download Process Explorer from HERE

Run Process Explorer and find the following process in the list of Processes:

iveggf.exe

Select the process and click Process > Suspend.

Leave Process Explorer running with the process suspended the whole time! Do NOT close it - even when your system is rebooting!

Then run HijackThis. Click Config > Misc Tools > Delete a file on reboot...
In the explorer Window select the file iveggf.exe
When prompted if you want to reboot click YES

After the reboot check the following items in HijackThis.
Close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [vudize] C:\WINDOWS\system32\iveggf.exe r


Rescan with HiJackThis and post the new log.

Great lets get the other one

Ack the file has regenerated with a different name. Ill need a few minutes to put together a brand new fix that just came out and sees to work very well with this.

Just for your info

lygkwsy.exe this is the new file ,notice the r after it in the Hijack log . It will always have that after it. be right back

1.Download the latest version of Ad-Aware (Ad-Aware SE Build 1.06r1) from here.

Install Ad-Aware using the default options


2. Download the VX2 Cleaner Plug-in Here

Then install vx2cleaner, using all the defaults there as well.

3. Run Ad-Aware
Update to the latest definitions
Then click on Add-ons in the lefthand column.
Select VX2 Cleaner V2.0 and click Run Tool. Click "OK".
If something is found, click "Clean" as in the directions given.
Click "Close", and EXIT Ad-Aware.

4. Reboot your PC and run Ad-Aware again.
This time, click on the Start button in Ad-Aware
Select "Perform smart system scan" and click Next.
Once the scan finishes, click "Next" again.
Select all objects found ("right click anywhere in the list of found objects and click "Select All Objects").
Click "Next" one more time, then "OK" to confirm the removal.
You will be prompted to set Ad-Aware to run on reboot, click "OK".
Exit Ad-Aware
REBOOT your PC into Safe mode
When Ad-Aware starts up, click on "Start", then "Next".
Follow the steps above if anything is found, or click "Finish", then EXIT Ad-Aware.

Now run cleanup

Open Ewido and do a full system scan

Please re-open HiJackThis and scan. Check the boxes next to all the entries listed below.

F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe C:\WINDOWS\Nail.exe

Now close all windows other than HiJackThis, then click Fix Checked

I did everything you said, however Ad-aware did not ask to do a scan upon reboot, but I rebooted anyways and did one myself in safe-mode. HJT did not come up with either of the entries you listed... dont know whether thats good or bad. Here's the latest HJT scan log

Download and install CleanUp! Here
but do not run it yet.
*NOTE* Cleanup deletes EVERYTHING out of temp/temporary folders and does not make backups.

Check and fix this item with hijack( unless you know what it is its running out of a temp directory which is never good)

Loophole,

Did what you said, and everything is running great...no notice of ABI lately either...the question is, how do I keep my system running so well? I run virus scans and use Ad-aware along with other programs regularly...any tips? Also is there any way I can request you for help with problems I encounter in the future? Finally (hopefully) here's my last HJT scan log for this stream of problems... Thanks for all the help, you really saved me from going insane on my computer. Do you get paid for all the work you do?

Honestly, the first thing I wouldo is uninstall Ares. Peer to peer sharing programs are the quickest way to get infected. But of course thats your choice.I would add these two programs Spybot Search & Destroy and Spywareblaster
