An unfinished system restore is not good. You're going to have to try again, and get the restore to complete. Make sure your CD is clean and doesn't have any deep scratches. If it still fails, try testing your memory click here

Let us take a closer look at what is running on your PC. We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool (HiJackThis) and post a log back here with the results.
Click the HijackThis Guide in my signature, download it and follow the instructions in the guide.
Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.

Try bootvis to decrease boot time. Click Here for a guide.how do i decrease boot-up time
I could tell you--but then I'd have to kill you.and how do you read and understand these logs
Honestly, it's not very easy. It takes reading many logs, and looking up many questionable entries. Plus, there are many programs disguised to look like legitimate programs, and there's always new pests being introduced. I still don't pretend to be an expert, but I'm pretty good. It usually takes me about 15-20 minutes to properly review and analyze a log.
Hijack This log tutorial:
http://www.spywarein...ogtutorial.html
Lookup BHO's and Startup programs here:
http://www.sysinfo.org/
That being said, you have a Cool Web Search infection. Let's start with:
CWShredder is the first to run. Here's why: If a CoolWebSearch variant is indeed running on your system, it may actually prevent you from running spyware scans. It is smart enough to detect efforts to detect it, and stop them. Download CWShredder to your desktop or other location. Close all browser windows, double click the CWShredder icon to run, then click the Fix -> button
When finished run Spybot S&D again, reboot and paste a new log.
