is there a way to remove this drop down list? it is extremely annoying and i dont want it, screenshot included so you know what im refering too

Yes there is..

In the menu toolbar click tools then options..

Then under temporary internet files delete cookies then delete files..

Then under history click "clear history"

If you are using firefox then go to tools-->options-->privacy-->then click "clear all"

You can turn off Auto Complete in Tools>Options>Content or, to do it selectively, highlight and press the delete key for the entries you'd rather not have. Turning off Auto Complete clears it.
