:ph34r: What is so special about the internet port 139 NETBIOS and Is it common for it not to be shown to the internet or can someone here please give me some information about this port 139.

port 139 is for NetBIOS. it generally isn't broadcast bast a router because it's one of the last things thta you want a computer that isn't on your network to know about your computer....Netbios was the old network naming convention
