I've been trying to access a message board for 2 days now, but I always get a "The connection was refused when attempting to contact [website]" message. Or sometimes "operation timed out..." I assumed that the website i'm trying to access is currently down. But after googling "connection was refused", I think it's a common problem for firefox users. I tried accessing the website using IE, but I only got a cannot be displayed message. I'm thinking of downloading Opera (?) or Netscape, but I'll have to wait for your reply first if you'll recommend me doing so. Help!!

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE .

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.

I've noticed that I have had several instances of connection being "timed out", "cannot be found" and other problems while trying to get to G2G. I thinks it is the volume of people trying to get to this website for help. Look at the number of request for help and look at the timeline. These people are swamped!!! At least that's what I think. :tazz:
