My mini ipod was working just fine in Itunes on my Win2000 Laptop.
Last week I went into Device manager and enabled a usb line.. i forget what it was called.

Even since itunes does not recognize my ipod.

I've already tried the following.
Reinstalled Itunes.
Plugged Ipod in 3 different USB ports.
Left Ipod connected via USB and left Itunes open for 15 minutes.

none of the above has helped.

I can't find the usb line that i enabled under device manager.
ALL usb ports are enabled in Device Manager.

reboot has not helped.. this is ongoing since last week.

HELP!!
