Hey,

I have had some problems with my pc.

First alot of spyware. (removed thanks to you guys)
then surching the way to format the C: without having to copy data to Cds
and now trying to install everything back on the pc.

I have a problem finding the right driver for my "Philips CDRW 1610A".
I found a driver on http://www.driverguide.com/ but it seems it is not the right driver for me. Running it, I got an error '1-l0013' and it stops.
PS I have windows Me.

any sugestion? helpsmilie.gif

Hi
Most cdroms you do not need to install a driver to work. Windows installs its own. The windows drivers work fine. Are you sure Philips makes a driver for it that needs to be installed?

I'm not sure. the fact is I can use it to read CD's fine. But when I use a burning program (any program, I tryed several already). the program stops and I have to Ctrl+Alt+Del.
